The $12.5 Million GTD Venom continues its historic march with Day 3 today. There are 102 players remaining and it will play all the way down to nine for the Final Table on Wednesday.
In case you didn’t hear, we originally weren’t sure if this tourney would beat the guarantee, After all, our previous biggest event was $10 Million GTD, so this one was 25% larger. But after a huge turnout (1,638 entrants) during Day 1E on Sunday, we finished with a final prize pool of $12,612,500!

One of the players of note who is still alive is ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker (MONEYMAKER). He was in 10th place heading into Day 2 yesterday and now sits in 70th place (7,973,387 chips) as we start Day 3.
