Congratulations on your win! How does it feel to come out on top in the Ladies Event?
Amazing! It is always a great feeling to get the trophy!
What does this win mean to you personally and professionally? How does this achievement rank among your career highlights?
Personally, it was very nice to finally have won a Ladies event. Honestly, I never take them too seriously, not because I don’t think they are important, but because I am always super distracted in meeting and talking to the girls.
For me the real value of the Ladies events is getting to know female players to promote women’s poker and hopefully make new friends.
What were the most memorable moments of the event for you? Were there any opponents who really tested your skills along the way?
It was really fun to get to talk with all the girls, especially Michaela and Isabella, and having the opportunity to know them better. But honestly, all the ladies I played and talked to were super sweet and real bosses!
How did you prepare for this event? Any changes to your usual routine?
My routine is always the same for every day and every event, the only thing that can change is the perks of a certain location. For example, I had a walk along the beach before this event.
Were there any particular challenges you faced during the event, and how did you overcome them?
I got quite unlucky during the heads up and had to exercise my patience with the back and forth of having the chip lead, but it is something that is not so unusual during heads up matches. Having a challenge that is quite standard is always a good opportunity to work on your resilience.
What did you learn from this experience that you’ll carry forward? Is there anything you would have done differently?
Keep wearing comfortable clothes at the tables. I decided to get a bit more dressed up than usual for the occasion, but it is simply not the best idea 😂
What’s next for you? Are there any upcoming online or live poker events you’re especially excited about?
I’m super excited for the $10k Super High Roller we have coming here at Enjoy tomorrow!
