Bing Du faces charges of money laundering and pandering following an undercover investigation

Professional poker player Bing Du has been arrested in Las Vegas on allegations of running an illegal brothel out of a residential property. The 37-year-old, who has participated in high-profile events such as the World Series of Poker, was taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) on October 27 while playing in a tournament at a major Strip casino. She now faces charges of money laundering and pandering following an undercover investigation that began earlier this year.

Authorities launched the probe after responding to online ads believed to promote prostitution services. According to the arrest report, an undercover officer was offered sexual services for $200 during a sting operation.

Surveillance of a home in the Spring Valley neighborhood later revealed multiple men arriving and leaving after short visits, typically lasting between 30 minutes and an hour. Police allege the property was being used to facilitate prostitution activities.

Court documents describe a search of the residence that uncovered several bedrooms with numbered doors and mattresses placed directly on the floor. Officers also found business cards advertising “Asian beauties for discreet gentlemen” and large quantities of condoms in the home’s trash. Investigators claim Du’s financial records showed frequent cash deposits and peer-to-peer payments inconsistent with her poker earnings.

Du reportedly admitted to officers that she knew tenants at the residence were “providing prostitution services” but claimed she was merely paid to ignore their activities. Police say a second individual connected to the same property faces similar charges.

While prostitution is legal in some rural counties in Nevada, it remains banned in Clark County, which includes Las Vegas and its suburbs. Du has not publicly commented on the allegations, and court proceedings are expected to determine whether she will face additional charges tied to the alleged operation.
