The long-time poker pro added another win by taking down the Wynn Signature Series Ladies Event
Kathy Liebert, a Women in Poker Hall of Fame member, recently added another victory to her amazing career by winning the Wynn Signature Series Ladies Event in Las Vegas. The tournament, which occurred earlier this month, saw Liebert outplaying a field of 41 participants to claim the top prize of $5,806. Liebert is a clear representation of the female community in the poker world.Β
Liebert, known for her consistent performances and signature purple attire, has a long and successful history in the poker scene. This latest win is particularly significant, as it marks her first live tournament victory in over a decade. Despite her many achievements, including nearly $7 million in live earnings and a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet from 2004, Liebert’s return to the winnerβs circle in a live event has reignited excitement among her fans and peers.

The $300 buy-in event at the Wynn attracted a competitive group of players, with notable finishes from Coletta Ray of California, who placed fifth and took home $1,320, and Nevadans Amy Wingate and Marjorie Dacko, who finished fourth and third, earning $1,800 and $2,512, respectively. Lisa Childers, a seasoned poker player herself, finished in second place, securing $3,562.
Liebertβs victory adds to her already impressive poker rΓ©sumΓ©, which includes numerous live tournament wins dating back to 1994. Although she has continued to excel in online poker, including winning a WSOP Circuit event in 2022 for $18,641, this latest accomplishment at the Wynn is a testament to her enduring skill and passion for the game.
