Kristen and Alex Foxen scored big wins recently during the WSOP Online series
Kristen and Alex Foxen continue to reinforce their reputation as poker’s powerhouse couple, each claiming impressive victories in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series this past week. Between them, they now hold seven WSOP bracelets, an achievement that further cements their status as dominant forces on the poker circuit.
Alex Foxen first made headlines by winning Event #17: $500 Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty 6-Max on October 23. For this victory, he earned $20,064, plus an additional $19,207 in bounties. To clinch the title, Alex overcame notable competitors, including high-stakes player Dan Smith, in an intense heads-up showdown, as well as other poker stars like Ben Yu and Chino Rheem. This marked Alex’s second career bracelet, following his first in 2022 when he took home a stunning $4.6 million in the $250,000 Super High Roller event during the Las Vegas WSOP.
Just days after Alex’s triumph, his wife added another win to the family’s tally. Playing as “Saraswati.” online, Kristen entered the 172-player Event #19: $1,000 No-Limit Hold ’em 6-Max, emerging victorious from a field that saw 311 entries.
Kristen ultimately secured the top prize of $56,703, along with her fifth WSOP bracelet. Her persistence paid off, as she used three buy-ins in the tournament before outlasting her final opponent, “dmatkr,” who received $42,163 for second place.
Kristen, now a five-time WSOP bracelet winner, has built her success both live and online. Her online wins include two recent bracelets, with her earlier victories taking place at the WSOP in Las Vegas in 2013 and 2016. Over the summer, she nearly became the second woman to reach the WSOP Main Event final table, finishing in 13th place after an all-in hand against Joe Serock.
This winning streak reinforces the Foxens’ prominence in the poker world, showing why they’re recognized as one of the game’s most skilled and successful couples.
