The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) at Resorts World Las Vegas recently wrapped up, delivering some impressive wins and drawing attention to standout players Stephen Song and Sam Soverel. The NAPT event, held from November 1 to 10, featured a packed schedule of 29 tournaments that attracted over 5,600 entries. The combined prize pool across all events reached nearly $10.5 million, bringing a lot of high-stakes action and notable victories to the Las Vegas Strip.
Song and Soverel emerged as major highlights in the high-roller events. Song’s performance demonstrated his skill and ability to compete at the top level, further solidifying his status in the poker world. Soverel, another well-known figure in the high roller circuit, also managed to clinch a title, marking him as one of the big winners in this NAPT series.
The main event was another exciting part of the series, where Nick Marchington claimed the title and added a significant achievement to his poker journey. Marchington faced a competitive field but managed to come out on top, adding his name to the list of NAPT champions.
In addition to the high rollers and main event, side events like the $550 Mystery Bounty drew plenty of attention. Gregor Sverko took the top prize in this tournament, which attracted 1,201 players. Sverko walked away with a substantial $66,300 in winnings, which included $19,500 from bounties, marking his first live tournament trophy.
