Señor Tilt sets two records in a single season, including the biggest single-day profit in the show’s history
A new name is now sitting at the top of High Stakes Poker history, and it belongs to Sam Kiki. The player known as “Señor Tilt” has delivered a performance that few expected, even in a show filled with elite competition and massive bankrolls.
According to Brent Hanks, CEO of PokerGO, Kiki broke two major records in a single season. He now holds the mark for the most money won across an entire season and also the biggest single-day profit in the show’s history. Both feats came against lineups packed with seasoned high-stakes regulars.
The level of competition makes the achievement stand out even more. Players like Alan Keating and Andrew Robl were part of the action, names that regularly appear in some of the biggest cash games in the world. Still, Kiki managed to outlast and outplay them over the course of the season.
High Stakes Poker has long been known for its massive pots and unforgettable moments. The show, which first aired in 2006, helped shape the modern image of televised cash games. Over the years, legends such as Tom Dwan built reputations by winning millions in just a few sessions, setting a high bar for anyone who followed.
Kiki’s rise did not come out of nowhere. He made an early impression in Season 15, winning a pot worth over $1 million against Rick Salomon. That same season also featured a big hand against Kevin Hart, further boosting his profile.
Away from the table, Kiki is also building a business presence as the founder of MonkeyTilt. With new episodes expected soon, attention will now shift to whether he can keep this level of success going.
