The online poker personality will compete against Boston Rob on the game show

Los Angeles poker vlogger and streamer Brantzen Wong will battle with “Boston Rob” Mariano on Deal or No Deal Island, which premieres on NBC on February 26. Fans can see a 30-minute preview after the NFL playoff game on Saturday, January 13.

Wong, also known as poker vlogger Brantzen Poker, has over 100,000 YouTube subscribers since his channel launched in May 2021. He’s also part of the PokerNews Stream Team on Global Poker. He and Mariano will battle against 11 other players in the version of the popular game show with a twist.

Mariano appeared five times on Survivor and has played a lot of poker for the last several years as a guest on mid-major tours. He has appeared on PokerGO and at major events, such as the PokerStars Players Championship and WSOP Paradise.

Deal or No Deal Island contestants will live on an island with over 100 briefcases with prizes of up to $200 million. Every episode has challenges for briefcases to use for playing a game of Deal or No Deal, where players can win immunity and the power to send other players home.

Deal or No Deal’s original host, Howie Mandel, is the producer and has handed off hosting duties for the new show to Magic Mike’s Joe Manganiello.

After the premiere, Deal or No Deal Island will air on Monday nights and stream on Peacock the following day. Poker fans can continue to watch Brantzen as a part of Global Poker’s PokerNews Stream Team.
