The regular poker event continues to put up obstacles for its biggest players

Ethan “Rampage” Yau ended Friday night’s Hustler Casino Live stream with the biggest loss of his poker career. Before the $100/$200/$400 session at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles, he joked about how he would “either be rich” or forced to return to playing $1/$3 stakes, which his original YouTube followers would remember wasn’t that long ago.

In almost 30 Hustler Casino Live appearances, his previous biggest loss of $304,000 was last November. However, he was down a career-worst $483,000 after six hours on Friday’s stream. After losing a $309,700 pot to Anthony, Rampage also lost a monster pot to Brandon Steven, a Kansas car dealership owner who regularly plays in the highest-stakes games.

Rampage would be put in a tough spot as he held the nut straight but had to consider his opponent getting a possible flush on the river. He would put Steven all in for $128,900, with Steven calling after contemplating for a few minutes if Rampage had a better flush.

In the end, Steven took down the nearly $285,000 pot, one of the biggest during the six-hour stream. While it was Rampage’s most significant loss, he’s ahead almost $1 million on Hustler Casino Live. On the show, he got his biggest score of $588,000 during May’s historic $1 million buy-in game.

Steven ran cold the rest of the night after his big win against Rampage, taking a $70,500 profit. Nikhil “Nik Airball” Arcot has had recent struggles on the show but won almost $50,000 on Friday night.
