The winning streak began on Thursday when Rigby entered the $400 PokerNews PowerStack event. This tournament attracted a field of 96 players and generated a total prize pool of $50,000. Rigby managed to navigate the entire field and defeated his final opponent in a heads-up battle to secure the top payout of $14,743.
Rather than resting after his victory, the Pittsburgh native immediately registered for the $300 One Day No Limit Hold’em Ring Event. He once again emerged victorious in that competition, adding another $3,512 to his earnings for the day.
With these latest wins Rigby has surpassed $200,000 in live tournament cashes for the current year and brought his career total to ten RunGood Poker Series rings.
