The 33-year-old Belarusian added another big win at the EPT in Monte Carlo
Mikita Badziakouski continues to climb the ranks of poker’s elite, now surpassing the $65 million mark in career tournament earnings. The 33-year-old Belarusian added nearly $900,000 to his bankroll with victory in the €50,000 (US$56,000) High Roller at a 2025 European Poker Tour (EPT) event in Monte Carlo. He defeated a 50-entry No-Limit Hold’em competition to earn $893,272.
That win came just days after he placed sixth in the €100,000 event at the same series, banking another $496,078. With these recent results, Badziakouski’s lifetime tournament earnings now sit at $65,720,249, putting him third on poker’s all-time money list. Only Bryn Kenney and Justin Bonomo have collected more prize money in live events.
The gap between Badziakouski and fourth-place Stephen Chidwick is now more than $250,000. What’s striking is that this most recent win doesn’t even rank among Badziakouski’s top 20 biggest scores. That says a lot about the consistency and volume of his success over the years.
This Monte Carlo victory marks his first title of 2025 and his fourth final-table appearance of the year. He also earned 510 points toward the Card Player Player of the Year standings, keeping him in the mix for another strong run in that race.
The final table included several top-tier names. Masashi Oya and Nick Petrangelo were both in the hunt, while Chris Nguyen—fresh off a multi-million dollar score in the €100K event—added a third-place finish for another $398,772. Brian Kim, who finished second, walked away with $590,228, pushing his own lifetime total to over $11.8 million.
Badziakouski’s ability to stay near the top year after year reflects a level of consistency few have matched in tournament poker.
