Mizrachi isn’t slowing down, despite having just won $10 million this month
Michael Mizrachi, one of poker’s most successful players, is keeping the momentum going after his historic win at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Just a week after taking home the $10 million prize, the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Famer is set to headline a live-streamed cash game at Venetian Las Vegas. The action will take place on Wednesday, July 23, at 6:00 PM (PT), and the game will feature $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em blinds.
The event, part of the Venetian Poker Live series, will be hosted by Brian Okin and will feature a star-studded lineup, including poker personalities Tiger, Alex Wilkinson, and Jon Isaac. Mizrachi’s participation in the game comes right on the heels of his remarkable summer, which saw him capture his fourth Poker Players Championship title before following it up with the Main Event victory. Known as “The Grinder,” Mizrachi has no plans to slow down and will be sticking around Vegas to headline the game.
Brian Okin jokingly remarked on social media about Mizrachi’s decision to join the cash game, saying he was “flattered” but also “slightly concerned” given Mizrachi’s recent success. The Venetian Poker Studio, which opened earlier this year, has already become a hub for high-stakes poker action, having recently hosted the streamed final table of the Venetian DeepStack Championship $1,600 UltimateStack. That event featured an intense heads-up battle between Patrick Leonard and Derek Gregory, with Leonard ultimately taking home $164,108.
