Zamani outlasted Kristen Foxen and others to secure the victory

Martin Zamani claimed victory in the second-to-last PokerGO Tour Last Chance event, held at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The tournament attracted a record-breaking 121 entries for a $10,100 buy-in, generating a prize pool of $1.21 million. Zamani walked away with the top prize of $302,500, boosting his lifetime poker earnings to nearly $7 million.

Entering the final day as the chip leader, Zamani maintained his momentum, eliminating Joey Weissman early in seventh place. Weissman’s K-10 fell to Zamani’s K-9 suited, earning him $48,400. Shortly after, Chris Brewer exited in sixth place for $60,500 when his A-J suited couldn’t overcome Brek Schutten’s pocket eights. Brewer’s career tournament earnings now exceed $26.7 million.

A critical moment came during five-handed play when Zamani executed a bold bluff against Schutten, who folded a full house to Zamani’s aggressive move. The hand propelled Zamani to a commanding stack of over 7 million chips, further solidifying his control of the table.

Ren Lin, making his second final-table appearance in the series, finished fifth for $72,600. Lin’s deep run brought him closer to $15 million in career earnings. Rania Nasreddine followed in fourth place, securing $133,100. She briefly held the chip lead during four-handed play but was ultimately overtaken by Zamani.

Kristen Foxen, a five-time bracelet winner, faced Zamani heads-up with a significant chip deficit. Zamani sealed the win in just two hands, ending the tournament with A-10 against Foxen’s A-8. Foxen’s runner-up finish added $187,550 to her lifetime earnings, which now exceed $10.4 million, making her one of only two female players to surpass the eight-figure milestone in tournament poker.

Zamani’s win earned him 303 PokerGO Tour points and 660 Card Player Player of the Year points, positioning him as a strong contender in both rankings.
