The Czech poker pro has now amassed over $12 million in live cashes
Martin Kabrhel has added a third World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet to his collection, winning the 2024 WSOP Europe €50,000 (US$55,000) No-Limit Hold’em high roller event. The Czech player emerged victorious from a field of 30 entries, securing a top prize of $587,190. This latest win makes Kabrhel the 145th player in WSOP history to have three or more bracelets to his name.
All of Kabrhel’s WSOP titles have come from events held at Kings Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. His first win came in 2017 when he took home $63,000 after winning the €1,100 (US$1,200) bounty super turbo tournament. The following year, he scored big in the €100,000 (US$110,000) high roller event, earning $3 million, the largest prize of his career.
With this latest victory, Kabrhel has now accumulated more than $12.8 million in career earnings, further solidifying his place as the leading player on the Czech all-time money list. His winnings put him $2.8 million ahead of fellow Czech player Roman Hrabec, who made a deep run in the event but did not cash.
The win also earned Kabrhel 408 Card Player Player of the Year (POY) points. This was his second title of the year, having already claimed a victory at the Italian Poker Sport 1Million Series back in February. With 849 points in total, he is now ranked just outside the top 800 in the 2024 POY standings.
This last high roller event surpassed its $1 million guarantee, generating a total prize pool of €1,395,900 (US$1,532,000). Only five players made the money, with Sirzat Hissou finishing as the runner-up for $391,830.
