The long-time pro added $102,000 to her poker war chest
Katie Lindsay, a well-known figure in the poker world, achieved the biggest live tournament win of her career by taking down the 2024 Moneymaker Tour Aruba Main Event. The $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament saw 325 entries, and Lindsay emerged victorious, earning a career-best prize of $102,915. This win marks a significant milestone in her poker journey, adding another impressive title to her list of accomplishments.
Before this event, Lindsay’s highest recorded score was $62,857, which she secured with a 26th-place finish at the 2022 Wynn Millions Main Event. This latest victory pushes her total career earnings to over $1.1 million, cementing her place among the top players in the game. Her husband, World Poker Tour champion and two-time bracelet winner Chris Moorman, quickly celebrated her win on social media, expressing his pride in her performance.

Lindsay has been part of the poker scene for over a decade, initially working as a player agent before transitioning to a professional player. Now an ambassador for Americas Cardroom (ACR), she has built an impressive résumé, with this Aruba win being the highlight of her career thus far.
Though this marks her largest live victory, Lindsay has had other notable successes in the past. She won her first and only WSOP Circuit ring in 2022 after taking down a $215 online event, securing $15,324. She also claimed a $50,145 payday by winning a $600 buy-in event at the 2018 Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza IV.
With this recent win, Lindsay also earned 480 Player of the Year points, making it her first POY-qualified score of 2024, a great start before the year comes to an end.
