The $1,600 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event attracted 1,051 entries as part of the DeepStack Championship Poker Series, generating a prize pool that guaranteed $1.5 million. The top 118 players cashed, with a minimum payout of $3,417. Reichard had to navigate a tough final table that included WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Smiljkovic and WSOP Circuit Main Event champion Jessica Vierling.
Reichard entered the final stretch trailing chip leader Brian Luo and holding one of the shorter stacks with seven players remaining. But momentum shifted quickly. Antonio Galiana exited in seventh place for $43,329, followed by Hugo Girard in sixth for $55,170. Reichard continued building his stack as Artem Metalidi (fifth, $70,924) and Min Sung Lee (fourth, $92,049) were eliminated.
A key moment came when Reichard eliminated Luo in third place, collecting $120,597. That left him heads-up with Vierling, who had already secured a strong finish but couldn’t outlast Reichard. She ended as the runner-up, taking home $159,480.
After the win, Reichard reflected on how long it had been since his last MSPT title. “Feels good,” he said. “Some friends were joking about how young they were the last time I won one. Maybe that gave me some motivation—or maybe I just ran good.”
Reichard is no stranger to success. He now holds two MSPT titles, 16 WSOP Circuit rings, and has wins across several major poker tours, including the WPT and Moneymaker Tour. This latest result only strengthens his standing as one of the most consistent performers in the game.
