The two have become regular fixtures on the global poker stage
During a press event at Resorts World Las Vegas, PokerStars recently welcomed two new ambassadors, Jason Koon, and Caitlin Comeskey. This announcement comes as the company continues to attract top players and personalities to promote its brand.
Known for his expertise in high-stakes games, Koon has a decorated poker career. Comeskey has made her mark through humor and creativity, winning the Best Short-Form Content Creator award at the 2023 Global Poker Awards.
Koon, a highly respected high-stakes tournament player with over $58 million in live tournament earnings, brings an impressive track record to his new role with PokerStars. While Koon had previously taken on brand ambassador roles, he explained that he wasn’t initially planning to take on another. The PokerStars offer, however, aligned with his values and goals, making the opportunity hard to resist. His connection to the PokerStars team, many of whom he’s known for years, and his enthusiasm for contributing to North American poker made this ambassadorship a natural fit for him.
On the other hand, Comeskey, known for her comedic take on poker life, joins PokerStars from a different part of the poker spectrum. Comeskey, a low-stakes player and popular poker content creator, said becoming a PokerStars Team Pro was a goal she had long been working toward.
As part of her new role, she plans to relocate from Texas to the Northeast to be closer to markets with legalized online poker, where she can livestream her games. This move marks a significant step forward for Comeskey’s poker career and her ambitions as a content creator.
By bringing on Koon and Comeskey, PokerStars demonstrates its commitment to a balanced representation in poker, combining skill and personality. This partnership not only strengthens the brand’s appeal but also highlights PokerStars’ continued dedication to growing the game across the US.
