Several regulars returned to once again claim their spots in the high-stakes events
The 2024 Wynn Millions Poker Series concluded last week after smashing the $8 million mark in tournament guarantees.
The series ran from February 19 through March 24 and included plenty of highlights, such as Neel Murthy winning the $3,500 Wynn Millions Championship for $502,856, Landon Tice’s first live tournament win since 2020 and Adrian Lopez taking the Mystery Bounty event title.
Erik Seidel won his 10th bracelet in a WSOP Paradise Super High Roller event last December and continued his domination on the high roller circuit in the $10,500 NLH High Roller, beating Alex Foxen heads-up to take the title. Reigning Player of the Year Bin Weng (9th for $26,000), Victoria Livshitz (7th for $36,400), and Eric Baldwin (5th for $59,600) were also featured at the final table.
Eric Baldwin had one of the early big scores at the 2024 Wynn Millions, outlasting 1,085 players in a $600 No-Limit Hold ’em event for $96,909 to take his live earnings over $8.4 million. Fellow Vegas-based grinders Jay Fredricksen (8th for $12,772) and Aaron Massey (3rd for $48,713) would also make the final table. North Carolina’s Paul Taylor would finish as runner-up to take home $63,335.
2022 GPI Female Player of the Year Cherish Andrews had a strong series, taking down the $2,200 NLH 6 Max event for $182,927 before finishing third in the Mystery Bounty event for $101,650. Jesse Lonis would earn another high-stakes win in a $10,500 NLH High Roller for $193,140 after beating Ethan “Rampage” Yau (2nd for $123,250) heads-up.
John Riordan was the champion in the $3,000 PLO 6 Max $200K GTD over Brazil’s Joao Simao (2nd for $47,823) heads-up to secure the $76,695 first-place prize.
