The German professional poker player Christoph Vogelsang has reached a major milestone by capturing his third title within the Triton Super High Roller Series. Competing in a $50,000 seven-max No-Limit Hold’em tournament held in Montenegro, he outlasted a competitive field to emerge victorious and continue his deep run at the felt.
The path to his latest win involved a strategic three-way deal that adjusted the final payouts for the remaining participants. Following this agreement, Vogelsang walked away with a first-place prize of $1,037,858. The event attracted a total of 118 entries, which collectively generated a substantial prize pool of $5,900,000.
While other notable professionals, including Thomas Muehloecker and Leonard Maue, performed exceptionally well to secure their own significant payouts, it was Vogelsang who claimed the top honor and the official tournament title.
This performance marks a significant moment for the seasoned player, who first started participating in these high-stakes events in 2017. With his total live tournament earnings now surpassing $48,826,625, he remains one of the most successful figures in modern poker history. The tournament itself was part of a larger festival schedule in Montenegro.
By adding another win to his record, Vogelsang has firmly established himself as a triple champion on the Triton circuit, joining a small and exclusive group of players who have reached this level of repeated success within the tour.
