Brock Wilson secured his second victory by defeating Nick Schulman, further cementing his commanding lead
Brock Wilson continued his standout 2026 PokerGO Tour campaign by securing another Golden Eagle trophy during the current US Poker Open series. Playing inside the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort and Casino, Wilson worked through a strong field of 80 entries in Event 6, the $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em tournament, extending an already impressive run.
The win added $224,000 to his bankroll and marked his sixth title on the PokerGO Tour. It also builds on a red-hot stretch that includes a PokerGO Cup series win just weeks earlier, along with a victory in the opening event of this same festival.
From the start, the tournament delivered high-level play and intense moments. The 80-player field created a total prize pool of $800,000, with payouts awarded to the top 12 finishers.
Wilson showed sharp judgment early, making a notable laydown with pocket aces in a wild three-way, six-bet hand against Chino Rheem and Jeremy Becker. Later, he played a key role on the bubble, eliminating Kent Stephens after his ace-king overtook pocket nines.
On the final day, Nick Schulman surged ahead, knocking out multiple players and entering heads-up play with nearly a 2:1 chip advantage. Still, Wilson stayed composed as momentum shifted back and forth.
The deciding hand came when Wilson flopped three queens and chose a controlled approach, calling bets from Schulman. After Schulman improved to a pair of jacks on the turn, the action escalated. By the river, Wilson moved all-in, and Schulman called, only to find himself second-best.
With just four events left in the series, Wilson now sits comfortably atop the leaderboard, holding a 211-point advantage over Clemen Deng.
