The Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro saw its highest number of entries on record
Ben Tollerene has officially claimed the richest Pot-Limit Omaha title in history, winning the $100,000 PLO Main Event at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro. He outlasted a record-setting 93-player field at the Maestral Resort & Casino, capturing $2.39 million for the victory and earning his third Triton title.
The tournament drew the largest turnout ever for a $100K PLO event on the Triton tour, pushing the prize pool to $9.3 million. After navigating a high-pressure final table, Tollerene faced Laszlo Bujtas heads-up in a clash between two longtime high-stakes rivals. Both players are well known in the online and live poker world, and their duel delivered a fitting end to the historic event.
Tollerene’s reaction after the win was emotional. Fighting back tears, he acknowledged the support of his peers and the journey that led to this moment. “Feels amazing,” he said. “To be heads-up with someone I respect so much made it really special.”
Redemption for Ben Tollerene.
After finishing runner-up in the $150K NLH, he returns with a statement win — taking down Event #15, the $100K PLO Main Event at Triton Poker SHRS Montenegro 2025.

For Tollerene, the win is not only his biggest PLO cash but a long-awaited result after several close calls, including two runner-up finishes in high-roller events last year. His week in Montenegro has been one of the most successful of his career, bringing in over $6.2 million through five cashes and three final tables.
Bujtas took home $1.645 million for second place, while other big names like Jason Koon, Dan Smith, and Joao Simao also made deep runs.
Tollerene also earned a luxury Jacob & Co. timepiece, awarded to Triton Main Event champions. His total live tournament earnings have now surpassed $29 million, reinforcing his reputation as one of the game’s most accomplished and consistent players.
This win marked a breakthrough moment in Tollerene’s career—and one that many in the poker world agree was long overdue.
