The $1,600 buy-in event may not look flashy on paper, but it drew a strong field and ended with a familiar name on top. Foxen’s win continues a strong run that has seen him succeed across a wide range of buy-ins consistently in his career.

The tournament featured a $1 million guarantee and easily cleared it. A total of 740 entries across three starting flights pushed the prize pool to $1,050,800. The timing also helped boost interest, with the final table wrapping up just hours before Super Bowl LV kicked off on Sunday.
Only 82 players made the money, and the later stages were packed with experienced pros. The final table included players like Daniel Sepiol and Nick Palma, along with several past champions from major tours. The depth of talent made the victory even more impressive.
Foxen stayed composed throughout the closing stretch. One by one, Dan Sepiol, Kenneth Kim, and Hunter Cichy were eliminated, clearing the way for a heads-up battle against Miquel Maimes. Foxen entered that duel facing a chip deficit but quickly seized control.
The deciding hand played out on a board of K♥ 3♠ 9♠ 8♦ 5♥. Maimes held K♠ 4♦, while Foxen revealed pocket threes for a flopped set. The hand sealed the outcome, earning Foxen $165,235 for first place. Maimes collected $122,698 as runner-up.
