Keating took down a $2.4M pot after being down over $1 million
Alan Keating recovered from being down over $1 million on Friday night to secure one of the biggest pots in the history of the Hustler Casino Live (HCL) Million Dollar Game. Keating finished with a big profit in the end after beating Rahul heads up for a $2.4 million pot, the second largest in HCL history. Tom Dwan holds the record for the biggest pot ever on HCL, winning $3.1 million last year.
Before the hand, both players had about the same amount in their stacks, with Rahul holding more than $1.3 million and Keating about $1.2 million in chips.

Rahul raised to $15,000 before the flop, holding 8S-7S. Keating called with 9-S-10S, as did three other players. Two spades on the flop gave both players flush draws, with Rahul hitting middle pair and Keating looking at an open-ended straight draw. Rahul bet $40,000, and Keating made the call as everyone else mucked their cards.
After the A-D on the turn, Rahul bet the pot, which was $140,000, and Keating called again. The 7-H on the river was a disastrous card for Rahul, giving him two pair and Keating a straight.
Rahul bet $200,000 but looked worried when Keating bumped it up to $1 million, telling everyone at the table, “This is going to take some time.” Rahul thought out loud for a few minutes about what Keating could be holding, even calling his exact hand and adding, “Nine-Ten spades, I don’t think so.”
After several minutes of contemplating his decision, Rahul finally called before Keating revealed the winning hand to take the $2.437 million pot. Keating finished the night with a profit of about $2 million.
