Wynn Las Vegas has revealed an exciting slate of satellite tournaments for players aiming to secure a seat at the prestigious WPT World Championship or a coveted Golden Passport for the ClubWPT $5M Invitational Freeroll. These opportunities come as the highly anticipated December championship approaches, promising life-changing prize pools and thrilling poker action.
From December 6 to 16, Wynn Las Vegas will host 11 live satellites, guaranteeing 250 entries into the $10,400 WPT World Championship. Highlighting the series is a 75-seat guarantee tournament scheduled for December 12 at 3:00 PM, offering players a chance to compete at one of poker’s most significant events of the year.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska noted the remarkable opportunities for players to participate, emphasizing the bonus chance to win a Golden Passport. These passports grant entry into the $5 Million ClubWPT Gold Freeroll, which kicks off on December 13. Milestone Satellites, held on December 6, 10, 11, and 12, include random drawings for Golden Passports, adding another layer of excitement for participants.
Ryan Beauregard, Wynn Las Vegas’s Executive Director of Poker Operations, highlighted the popularity of these satellites. He stated that last year’s events sent nearly 500 players to the WPT World Championship and that this year’s inclusion of the $5M Freeroll represents an unprecedented bonus for participants.
Players can also secure their championship seat through other qualifiers. Five-step satellites will take place at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, California, from December 5 to 7, leading into the Wynn Milestone Satellites. Additionally, direct qualifiers will be held at Thunder Valley on December 7 and at the WPT Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open in Hollywood, Florida, on December 2 and 3.
This series of events positions Wynn Las Vegas as a key destination for poker enthusiasts seeking to compete in two of the year’s largest prize pools.
