The WSOP Circuit tournament is heading back to Canada for its second run of the year
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is making its return to Playground in Montreal, Canada, from August 19 to September 3. This exciting event is set to get the attention of a large crowd of poker enthusiasts eager to compete for a share of the $3 million in guaranteed prizes spread across 15 ring-awarding tournaments.
The tournament schedule is full of events dedicated to a variety of poker players, with buy-ins ranging from $250 to $3,300. The most highly anticipated of these is the $1,700 Main Event, which boasts a hefty $1.5 million guarantee. This prestigious event is expected to attract a large number of participants, all looking for the coveted WSOPC ring and the substantial cash prize that comes with it.
The series kicks off with The Colossus on August 19, a $300 buy-in event that guarantees a $500,000 prize pool. With 11 starting flights available between August 19 and August 25, players have multiple opportunities to secure their spot in the later stages of the tournament, culminating in the final showdown on August 25.
Throughout the series, various other events will draw in competitors. The $400 Monster Stack, $800 Mystery Bounty, and $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em with a $100,000 guarantee are expected to be highly contested, each offering players a chance to showcase their skills.
High-stakes players will have their moment in the spotlight with the $3,300 High Roller event, which takes place from September 1-2 and guarantees a $250,000 prize pool. Late registration for this event remains open until Day 2, allowing for last-minute entries.
The WSOPC Playground Main Event is undoubtedly the highlight of the series, with three Day 1 flights available. Each flight offers unlimited re-entries until the end of the 12th level, ensuring that players have every opportunity to build a strong stack for Day 2. Given the limited capacity for each flight, early registration is recommended to secure a seat in this highly sought-after event.
