The WPT is preparing for a unique poker experience on board the Valiant Lady
Anticipation is building for the World Poker Tour (WPT) Voyage, offering a unique cruise experience with an array of new entertainment options onboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady. As the departure date nears, the diverse lineup of talented performers has poker players waiting for the chance to enjoy live music, enticing excursions and captivating entertainment at sea.
“WPT Voyage is primed to be the ultimate package of poker and entertainment,” said CEO Adam Pliska. “Offering a variety of shows featuring talented performers, WPT Voyage has something for everyone to enjoy.”
Various entertainers will perform on several stages, including small theater venues onboard, the pool deck and beautiful island destinations.
Fans of all musical genres will enjoy listening to the pianos of The Moonshiners and the talented Sarah Hester Ross. Other artists set to perform include Kennedi & The Groove, Oscar Ornelas and Adam Kadabra.
Those who like stand-up comedy can attend several shows throughout the week from comics like Leonard Ouzts, Michael Ian Black, James Mattern and Jade Catta-Preta. Mentalist Ben Price will perform mind-bending feats, adding a bit of mystery to challenge the audience’s minds. Talented DJs, including Fergie, Max Styler and Sub Zero, will also perform at the beach party in Bimini, Bahamas.
The pajama-themed WPT Meet-Up Game will take place on March 31, and guests should remember to pack a red outfit for Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Night event. The cruise will feature a red theme, with live music, interactive games, mini circus performances, myth-telling and karaoke.
A full schedule of poker events with $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools will merge with the on-board entertainment, including the $5,000 buy-in WPT Championship Event with $1 million in prize guarantees. The Valiant Lady sets sail from Miami on March 31 and returns on April 6.
