Phil Hellmuth and others will appear on the premiere episode
The Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN) is rolling out a new weekly podcast with a lineup that blends poker and sports betting. Titled Fade Us Sports, the show premieres today, August 27, and brings together some of poker’s most recognizable names to share their gambling insights in a fresh format.
The hosts include 17-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, outspoken pro Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, bracelet winner Brandon Cantu, and longtime poker insider David Woodley. The group has known each other for more than three decades, having crossed paths countless times on the poker circuit. Now, they’re channeling that same energy into a space where sports and betting intersect.
Each episode will focus heavily on NFL betting while weaving in personal stories from their years in poker. Expect discussions on point spreads, survivor pools, and bankroll strategy delivered with the banter fans have long associated with this crew. The format is meant to capture the same debates gamblers have among friends on game day, with the personalities providing both entertainment and tactical insight.
VSiN President Brian Musburger praised the addition, calling the lineup “some of the greatest minds in the history of gambling.” He noted that while their reputations were built in poker, their competitive instincts and gambling experience make them natural fits for the sports betting conversation.
Hellmuth himself described the show as an extension of the table talk that has defined his career. He said the goal is to give fans the same flavor of conversation they’d hear in living rooms and sportsbooks, while pairing it with VSiN’s established betting expertise.
The launch comes at a time when VSiN is expanding its programming ahead of the 2025–26 NFL season, including more live broadcasts from Circa Sports in Las Vegas and new shows tailored for growing markets like Kentucky. With poker legends at the helm, Fade Us Sports aims to bridge two gambling worlds in a way that appeals to both poker fans and football bettors.
