The poker room is going to be relocated to the casino’s Grand Canal Shoppes
The poker room at the Venetian Las Vegas casino resort is being relocated to a new area. Tommy LaRosa, Director of Poker Operations, has posted a video on X demonstrating the route from the previous location to the new one.
We are excited to show you our new space later this summer. Until then, allow @VenetianTD to show you how to get to the new space from @VenetianPoker pic.twitter.com/uDDYmcPP9n

The room will have an increased capacity of 50 tables compared to the existing 35 and will occupy 14,000 square feet. Although no specific opening date has been planned, LaRosa mentioned in the post that it will be disclosed “later this summer.”
The expanded poker room’s new location will be on the second floor of the Grand Canal Shoppes, situated between the Venetian and the Palazzo. Tourists can currently enjoy gondola rides in a simulated Venice featuring luxury stores and high-end dining establishments.
The amount spent to move to the new location has not been disclosed, but LaRosa has previously emphasized that it is a “significant investment.” Sports betting kiosks will be located throughout the facility, with USB charging stations offered at every seat. Like most modern poker rooms, it will also be a smoke-free environment.
Poker vloggers will also be comfortable in the new Venetian poker room, which will feature a unique area for recording the action and a table to facilitate live-streaming broadcasts.
The new poker room is being planned during a period when other well-known poker rooms, such as the one at Caesars Palace, are rumored to be closing their doors in Las Vegas.
The Venetian poker room launched with 39 tables in 2006. It was the third-biggest poker room on the Strip at the time, covering 11,000 square feet, and was later re-branded as The Sands Poker Room.
