Tiger Woods mixes it up with Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho and other poker greats
Tiger Woods was spotted at the poker table at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas last Friday. He was attending his annual charity poker game, Tiger Jam, which also saw several poker heavy-hitters participate.
Tiger Jam and the TGR Foundation were established in 1996 and have raised over $22 million for charity since then. The TGR Foundation helps underprivileged youth in poor communities empower themselves through education.
Poker pro Maria Ho hosted the festivities, and the tournament was organized on behalf of the TGR Foundation by the World Poker Tour (WPT). Various celebrities and poker professionals, including Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey, were spotted at the event this past weekend. DraftKings was the primary sponsor of the two-day event.

Woods and two-time Major champion Collin Morikawa hosted a golf clinic earlier in the day while guests watched a musical performance by Maroon 5. The 48-year-old has only played in five events since the 2023 Hero World Challenge and hasn’t been seen publicly since the PGA Championship at Valhalla last month, where he failed to make the cut.
Since playing in the 2023 PNC with his son, Charlie, he has vowed to play in at least one event per month. He finished T60 at the Masters in Augusta and plans to play in the US Open from June 13 to 16 at Pinehurst.
“I need to play more,” said Woods. “Unfortunately, I just haven’t played a whole lot of tournaments, and not a whole lot of tournaments on my schedule either. Hopefully, everything will somehow come together in my practice sessions at home and be ready for Pinehurst.”
