The last six players will have to wait until the end of May to see who will win
The final table is officially set for the World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event, following several intense days of competition in South Florida. The $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em championship drew 1,755 total entries, generating a massive $5.6 million prize pool that far surpassed the event’s $3.5 million guarantee.

After two opening flights and three full days of combined-field play, only six players remain in contention for the title. Each finalist is guaranteed at least $164,000, but they’ll be returning on May 29 in Las Vegas for a shot at the top prize of $776,000 and a seat in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
Leading the pack is Art Peacock, who recently won the WSOP Circuit main event in Pompano Beach. The 66-year-old brings a stack of 27,150,000 chips into the televised final, giving him a strong position with 109 big blinds. With over $1.6 million in live earnings already, Peacock has plenty of experience heading into this final table.
Close behind is Daniel Marcus with 22,150,000 in chips. This run marks his largest career cash to date. Jeffery Fritz is also making a breakthrough, sitting in third with 16,150,000. His previous best was an 85th-place finish in this same tournament back in 2021.
Jared Hemingway, holding 11,150,000, is also guaranteed a career milestone, bringing his total earnings past $1.1 million. Mihai Niste, with over $1.8 million in past cashes, enters with 8,650,000, while UK player Mitchell Hynam rounds out the group with 2,000,000.
The tournament paid out 221 players, and among those who ran deep were big names like Brian Yoon, Brian Altman, and Harrison Gimbel. With just six players left, all eyes now turn to Las Vegas, where one of them will join the ranks of WPT champions.
