The Vegas casino is relocating its poker room and making it bigger than ever
The plans to relocate its poker room to a new facility inside the Grand Canal Shoppes this summer have been revealed by the Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The poker room was developed to house additional new facilities and enhance the all-around gaming experience for customers.
The new facility will cover 14,000 square feet on Level 2 of the Grand Canal Shoppes, becoming the biggest poker room on the Strip with 50 tables. It offers more seating capacity and will include upgraded extras, including self-serve coffee stations and Coca-Cola fountains, online ordering and delivery from Grand Lux restaurants, USB and USB-C charging ports, TVs, Venetian Rewards loyalty program kiosks and a William Hill retail sportsbook.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas Chief Gaming Officer, Danny Ruiz, said, “The expansion of the poker room is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts of reimagining the gaming experience at The Venetian Resort. The room was designed to provide an elevated playing experience, and everything from design details to enhancements were made with the players in mind.”
The new facility gives customers easy access to The Palazzo self-parking garage and nearby restaurants inside the Grand Canal Shops, including Mott 32 and Miznon.
The new poker room will still offer cash games and hold its DeepStack tournament series. A dedicated streaming room may also be introduced, allowing players to stream tournament final tables and cash games and easily initiate vlogging sessions.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas Director of Poker Operations, Tommy LaRosa, added, “We’re making an investment in our players and curating the amenities based on their feedback. We can’t wait to unveil the new room this summer and show why the Venetian Poker Room is and continues to provide an unparalleled poker experience.”
