Several poker players are joining Doug Polk in helping the poker room succeed
The Lodge Card Club in Texas has expanded its ownership group with two well-known poker personalities, Nikhil “Nik Airball” Arcot and Ethan “Rampage” Yau. Doug Polk, one of the existing owners, announced in a recent YouTube video, highlighting their influence in the poker world and their ability to draw attention to the game.
The card club, which operates locations in Round Rock and San Antonio, has already established itself as the largest poker room in Texas. Polk, along with fellow poker pros Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen, has been part of the ownership team since early 2022. With the addition of the new investors, the business is set to grow even further.
Both Yau and Arcot are no strangers to high-stakes poker and livestreamed games. They frequently appear on popular poker broadcasts, including Hustler Casino Live, where they have built strong followings. Arcot confirmed that he will now be making more regular appearances on Poker at the Lodge’s livestream, possibly on a monthly basis, while still maintaining his presence on Hustler Casino Live.
Polk praised both new partners for their understanding of poker content creation, noting that their involvement can help The Lodge reach a wider audience. Yau, a well-established poker vlogger with a significant YouTube following, has attracted attention to the club since its early days. Meanwhile, Arcot has gained recognition for his presence in high-stakes games and his ability to create excitement at the tables.
With the backing of these new investors, The Lodge is looking beyond its two current locations. The ownership team continues to explore expansion opportunities in the Lone Star State, though previous attempts to open a new poker room near Dallas were unsuccessful.
