This will be the second year for the event as it returns to Genting Casino Stratford
The Hendon Mob Championship is set to return to London this December, bringing its second-ever edition back to Genting Casino Stratford. The series will run from December 2–7 and will feature five trophy events with more than £200,000 (US$231,000) in guarantees. The stop serves as the finale for the 2025 season and aims to build on the momentum from its debut last year.
The festival continues its partnership with the Unibet Deepstack Open, giving online players a chance to qualify for multiple events. Unibet is running satellite packages that include seats to both the Main Event and the Opener Deepstack, along with travel spending money. This setup allows players across all bankroll levels to take part in one of London’s rising poker festivals.
Organizers say they want the stop to become a yearly fixture for local players. Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships for GPI/The Hendon Mob, said the goal is to grow the London event into the brand’s flagship UK tournament. He added that Genting Stratford’s renewed commitment to poker has helped strengthen the partnership heading into 2025.
This year’s guarantees are receiving a significant increase. The Opener Deepstack will now offer £30,000 (US$35,000) guaranteed, up from £25,000 (US$29,000). The Main Event sees the biggest jump, climbing from a £100,000 (US$115,000) guarantee to £150,000 (US$174,000). The Opener will again include extended late registration, allowing players to buy in up to the start of the second level on Day 2.
A new perk awaits the Main Event champion: a Cape Town poker package. The winner will earn not only a major cash prize but also an experience in one of the world’s most scenic destinations.
With larger guarantees, online qualifiers, and new travel rewards, the return of The Hendon Mob Championship gives London’s poker community a strong year-end highlight.
