The $3,300 Main Event drew 337 entries before Stephen Hubbard took the title
The 2025 PGT Texas PLO Roundup ended a successful run at Champions Club Texas in Houston, wrapping up ten days of action-packed Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments. Held from November 14–24, the series drew strong fields and delivered competitive final tables across all buy-in levels. The highlight was the $3,300 Main Event, which drew 337 entries and produced dramatic finishes throughout the late stages.
Stephen Hubbard emerged as the standout performer of the festival. He captured the Main Event title and $215,000 after dominating the final day of play. Hubbard began the session near the top of the chip counts and quickly took control, scoring five of the last six knockouts. His run-through marked one of the most commanding final table performances of the series.
Heads-up play against Philip Shing was brief, with Hubbard entering the duel holding an 11-to-1 chip advantage. On the final hand, Shing attempted a river bluff, only for Hubbard to make the correct call and lock up the trophy. The win awarded him 215 PGT points and completed a stellar week that also included a victory in the $5,100 Single-Day High Roller.
A total of 15 champions were crowned over the course of the festival. Bryce Yockey added to his growing list of PGT titles by winning PLO High Roller #3 for $45,500, strengthening his reputation as one of the top PLO specialists on the tour. Another major moment came when Brevin Andreadis secured his first PGT title by taking down the $5,100 High Roller for $38,500.
The strong turnout, smooth structure, and deep fields reaffirmed Houston’s growing status as a premier stop for Pot-Limit Omaha. Players and organizers alike left the 2025 PGT Texas PLO Roundup calling it one of the series’ most successful Texas stops yet.
