Texas will officially join the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Tour in 2026, marking a first for the state and a major milestone for its live poker scene. The WSOP confirmed that Austin will host a Circuit stop through a partnership with Texas Card House, bringing the global brand to Texas for the first time.
The event is scheduled to run from April 23 through May 4 at TCH Social in Austin. The venue is one of Texas Card House’s flagship locations and offers a large poker floor with up to 70 tables, along with dining, cocktails, and a modern club-style setting designed for extended tournament series.
Players from across the US and abroad will head to Austin to compete for WSOP Circuit rings and sizable prize pools. The stop gives Texas-based players a rare chance to chase WSOP hardware without leaving the state, while also drawing established pros looking to add Circuit titles to their resumes.
Texas Card House CEO Ryan Crow said hosting a WSOP Circuit stop reflects years of work building a strong poker community in the state. He described the event as a celebration of Texas poker and its role in the game’s history, especially with Texas Hold’em returning to its roots in a major way.
Since opening its first location in 2014, Texas Card House has expanded to six venues statewide, including rooms in Dallas, Houston, and the Rio Grande Valley. The brand has become known for large tournaments, steady cash games, and a player-focused approach within Texas’ unique poker model.
The Austin stop adds another high-profile destination to the 2026 WSOP Circuit calendar. Full details of the event schedule and ring offerings are expected to be released closer to the series.
