A dozen satellites offer a lot of opportunities for players to get into the big game

The World Series of Poker has announced that a dozen satellites for the 2024 WSOP Main Event will be available in February at WSOP.com. Players in New Jersey and Nevada will have a $320 buy-in satellite each Saturday at 7:30 PM and a $215 buy-in satellite on Sundays at 6:30 PM for a seat into the $10,000 Main Event this summer.

Players in Michigan and Pennsylvania will have a $215 buy-in satellite on Sundays at 6:30 PM for the remainder of the month.

Winners of the satellites will get $10,000 in tournament chips that can be used to enter any WSOP Gold bracelet event at the 55th World Series of Poker, which is scheduled from May 28 to July 17 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The Main Event will run from July 3 to 17.

Last year’s Main Event attracted a record of over 10,000 players, generating a massive $93.3 million prize pool. The first Mystery Millions event at last year’s series attracted a huge field of 18,188 players to create a prize pool of more than $16 million.

Between 95 and 100 live bracelet events and two dozen online bracelet events are expected at this year’s series. WSOP.com has also been hosting monthly freerolls for entries into the 2024 Main Event. Players who deposit using the code WIN2024 can play in an exclusive freeroll on February 29 at 8 PM ET.

The freerolls are available on WSOP.com in all four states, with players required to deposit by February 27 to enter.
