The series will make a stop at The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock
The RunGood Poker Series is heading to Texas this month, continuing its Passport Season with a stop at The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock. Located just outside Austin, the venue has become one of the state’s most popular destinations for tournament poker and will host a full week of action.
The series gets underway on January 27 and will feature seven ring events spread across six days. PokerNews will be on-site to provide live updates, including full coverage of the Main Event beginning January 29.
Action kicks off with a $200 Seniors Ring Event for players aged 50 and over, offering a $20,000 guarantee. Later that same day, players can jump into the $200 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event, also carrying a $20,000 guarantee. Select guests will hold bounty envelopes with prizes ranging from cash to RunGood merchandise.
January 28 brings more variety, including the $400 PokerNews Deepstack Ring Event. That tournament guarantees at least $20,000 and awards points toward the PokerNews Deepstack Leaderboard. A $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Ring Event will also give non-hold’em players a chance to compete for a title.
The highlight of the stop is the $600 Main Event, which boasts a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Flight A begins on January 29, with additional flights running on January 30 and 31. Day 2 and the final table are scheduled for February 1.
The Lodge Card Club, co-owned by Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme, and Brad Owen, continues to attract major tours. With the RunGood Poker Series arriving, the Lone Star State once again shows why it has become a growing force in the tournament poker scene.
