The annual tournament heads to Maryland beginning October 27
The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Grand Prix is heading to MGM National Harbor in Maryland in less than two weeks, bringing ten championship rings and a packed schedule of events. The festival kicks off on October 27 with a $700 RunGood Package Satellite at 11:15 AM, where at least three players will earn entry into seven tournaments, including the Main Event. For those aiming directly for the big one, a $200 Main Event satellite on the same day will award one seat for every 11 entries.
Action officially begins October 28 with the $400 Series Opener No-Limit Hold’em, which comes with a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. Later that evening, teams can join forces for the $300 Tag Team No-Limit Hold’em event starting at 6:15 PM. Both tournaments are expected to draw a strong local turnout as players look to claim early momentum in the chase for RunGood rings.
The excitement continues on October 29 with the $400 Deepstack, the first multi-flight tournament of the series. Featuring two starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool of at least $50,000, it offers players multiple chances to build a big stack and run deep. On October 30, the schedule adds a player favorite — the $400 Black Chip Bounty No-Limit Hold’em — where each elimination brings an extra cash reward.
Later that same day, the $1,700 Main Event kicks off its first flight at 3:15 PM. The Main Event features a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool and three Day 1 flights running through November 1. Players start with 40,000 chips and play 40-minute levels that extend to 60 minutes at the final table.
