The upcoming series includes a mix of games for players of all levels
The first major poker series at Resorts World Las Vegas was in late 2023 with the PokerStars North American Poker Tour. It turned out to be an overwhelming success, with more than 3,200 player entries and total prizes awarded of over $4.2 million among the 17 events. The $4.3 billion resort property is preparing to host another festival in March with the PokerAtlas Tour Las Vegas.
The tournament series has been scheduled from March 7-18, with ten events and more than $700,000 in guaranteed prizes up for grabs during the series and tournaments for all types of players. The tour’s coverage will include publishing the chip counts of every player in all the events throughout the series.
This PokerAtlas Tour Las Vegas has tournaments for all players, with a mixture of games and variations on the schedule, with buy-ins running from $260 up to $800 for the March 14 main event. The highlight of the festival is the $800 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em main event with $300,000 in prize guarantees running from March 14-18.
Besides the standard No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, the series also features a $150,000 guaranteed $400 buy-in mystery bounty event and a $400 Omaha eight-or-better event on March 11, followed by a $400 H.O.R.S.E. tournament beginning March 12, and a $400 Omaha eight-or-better/stud eight mixed event that will commence on March 13.
