Alex Foxen added another title, becoming the first player to reach 10,000 tour points
The PokerGO Tour (PGT) made history this week after high-stakes pro Alex Foxen captured another major title inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Foxen claimed victory in Event #2: $5,300 PLO Quattro Bounty at the ongoing PGT PLO Series II, taking home $87,000 in prize money and an additional $90,000 in bounties. The win marked his second title in less than a month and pushed him past two major career milestones—10,000 tour points and 100 cashes on the PokerGO Tour, both firsts in PGT history.

The tournament drew 133 entries, generating a prize pool of $665,000. Foxen’s path to the final table included a key double knockout that ended Day 2, propelling him into the chip lead.
Once play was four-handed, he faced tough competition from Kamel Mokhammad, Michael Wang, and LaDarren Banks. Mokhammad was eliminated by Wang after losing a flush draw battle, while Banks fell shortly after. In the final hand, Wang’s pocket kings couldn’t hold off Foxen’s straight draw, and Foxen rivered his straight to seal the win.
The victory adds to an already remarkable year for Foxen. In September, he won a $10,000 PGT Poker Masters event for $272,000 and finished runner-up in another for $196,000. With this latest performance, his lifetime earnings now exceed $53 million, according to The Hendon Mob database. It’s also just his second live win in a non-Hold’em event, highlighting his growing strength in Pot-Limit Omaha formats.
The PGT PLO Series II has already seen big names shine. Jesse Lonis opened the series by winning the $5,100 PLO event for $175,000, edging out Chino Rheem. The series continues through October 25, with the $25,200 PLO Championship wrapping up the schedule, ensuring even more high-stakes drama before the month ends in Las Vegas.
