The new poker series will make its debut in Las Vegas this fall
A brand-new tournament series is set to arrive in Las Vegas this fall with the launch of the PokerGO Tour Bounty Blitz. Running from September 1 through September 6 at the PokerGO Studio, the series will feature six events, each carrying a $5,300 buy-in. Of that amount, $2,000 will be allocated to the bounty pool, ensuring action-heavy gameplay from the start. Players who sign up before cards are in the air will also enjoy a $200 discount on their entry.
The lineup brings a mix of formats designed to test different aspects of tournament strategy. The first event begins with a traditional knockout structure, rewarding players immediately for each elimination.
Event 2 introduces the Escalator format, where bounty values increase as the tournament progresses—beginning at $500 during registration, doubling once late entry closes, and adjusting again as the field thins. Event 3 takes things further with the Quattro structure, pushing bounties up to $8,000 once a quarter of the field remains.
The action continues with a Progressive Knockout in Event 4, where half of each bounty is paid instantly while the other half adds to the winner’s own bounty value. Event 5 delivers the fan-favorite Mystery Bounty, a format that has grown rapidly in popularity thanks to its mix of skill and luck, with envelopes hiding prize amounts awarded for each knockout. The series concludes with another traditional knockout to round out the six-day schedule.
Beyond the immediate prize pools, the Bounty Blitz also ties into the PokerGO Tour leaderboard system. Each event awards points toward qualification for the 2025 PGT Championship, which will feature a $1,000,000 prize pool and a $500,000 top award.
Alongside the upcoming Poker Masters and PGT Venetian Classic, this new series adds another layer to a busy September calendar in Las Vegas, further cementing the city as the world’s leading stage for tournament poker.
