Cedric Trevino, Jessica Teusl and others are offering shares on the platform
Poker fans who want a more direct way to support their favorite players at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) can do so through StakeKings, which allows backers to buy a percentage of a player’s tournament entry. With the WSOP heating up in Las Vegas, plenty of poker pros are offering pieces of their action, giving fans a shot at sharing potential winnings.
This month, Cedric Trevino is offering shares for multiple events, including the $1,500 Monster Stack, the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed, and the $500 Salute to Warriors tournament. He’s not alone—Rocco Iati and Mike Yang are also selling action for the Salute to Warriors event, with Iati additionally participating in the Monster Stack.
Raymond Rojas and Mark Ellerbe are other names joining the list of players funding their entries through backers. All are focused on events that draw large fields and offer big payouts, such as the $1,500 Millionaire Maker. That tournament, known for changing lives with its seven-figure top prize, has attracted bracelet winners Jessica Teusl, Alexander Neumann, and Mo Khan, all of whom are selling shares.
Teusl is also entering the $1,000 Battle of the Ages, a new event that groups players into flights based on their age. For those interested in mixed games, Mo Khan is offering action in the $10,000 Big O Championship. Meanwhile, Donovan Bates and Tim Frazin are looking for support in the $1,500 Razz, with Frazin also entering the $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo event.
StakeKings offers fans a chance to get closer to the action, and with more events on the WSOP schedule, opportunities to back players will continue well into July.
