The series will be held from November 14 to 24, with $1.35 in guaranteed cash
The PokerGO Tour (PGT) is heading to Houston next month for the highly anticipated Texas PLO Roundup at Champions Club. Running from November 14 to 24, the event promises to be one of the biggest pot-limit Omaha (PLO) showcases in the state, offering $1.35 million in guaranteed prize pools. The highlight will be the $3,300 buy-in Main Event, which guarantees $1 million and runs from November 20 to 24.
The series will open with two events on November 14 — a $300 No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a $15,000 guarantee and a $400 PLO multi-flight event guaranteeing $100,000. From there, the schedule intensifies with a range of formats catering to both serious PLO pros and recreational players. Events include a $1,100 PLO Progressive Knockout, a $300 Big O event, and three $5,300 High Roller tournaments designed to draw top regional and national talent.
The Main Event will feature six starting flights, three of which — Days 1C, 1E, and 1F — will be turbo flights to keep the pace fast and the action constant. The field will combine for a three-day battle ending on November 24, where a new PLO champion will be crowned. PokerGO will stream the final action, giving fans a front-row seat to Texas’s growing influence on the national poker scene.
Last year’s PGT PLO Roundup Main Event drew 474 entries, creating a $1.4 million prize pool. Lawrence Chang took home the title and $300,000 after defeating Andrew Ige heads-up. Side events also delivered big moments, with Ronald Keijzer, Curtis Miller, and Adam Hendrix claiming high roller titles.
This year’s edition is expected to build on that momentum. With the state’s aggressive PLO scene and Champions Club’s reputation for hosting top-tier tournaments, the upcoming series could set new records for participation and prize money in Texas poker.
