TCH Social in Austin will host the event next month
A new chapter in Texas poker is set to begin with the launch of the Trailblazer Poker Tour, a fresh tournament series kicking off in Austin this October. The event will be hosted at TCH Social, a newly opened 70-table poker room that is already generating excitement among local poker enthusiasts. This inaugural edition of the tour, which will take place from October 16 to 28, features $2 million in guaranteed prize pools, making it a major draw for players in the region.
TCH Social opened its doors on August 28, offering more than just poker. The venue includes a full-service restaurant and bar, allowing guests to enjoy high-quality meals and drinks without stepping away from the tables. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, TCH Social is designed to become a staple of the Texas poker scene, offering round-the-clock action for its patrons.
The Trailblazer Poker Tour will move across Texas, with future stops planned in Spring in November, Edinburg in December, and Dallas in January. These monthly events will each be hosted at a different Texas Card House location, ensuring the tour brings its excitement to players statewide.
This launch comes on the heels of a significant legal victory for poker rooms in Texas. A recent court decision reversed a previous ban on poker rooms, allowing establishments like TCH Social to operate freely. The ruling has renovated the state’s poker scene, opening the door for more venues and events, including the Trailblazer Poker Tour, to thrive.
The combination of a brand-new, high-quality venue and the court’s decision to allow poker rooms again signals a new era for the Lone Star State poker scene.
