More dates and changes to how points are awarded have been announced
The World Series of Poker has shared another round of updates for the 2026 season, giving players a clearer picture of what lies ahead across its global schedule. The announcements cover dates, new formats, and changes that affect how players plan an entire year of competition.
The 57th WSOP in Las Vegas will run from May 26 through July 15, 2026, returning once again to Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. Organizers are already advising players to lock in travel early, with demand expected to be high for both events and accommodations. Main Event dates have not yet been confirmed and are expected early next year.
WSOP Paradise is also officially locked in for a fourth year. The series will take place from December 1 to December 18, 2026, continuing its role as the year-ending stop on the WSOP calendar. Online satellites will once again feed into Paradise, along with the Las Vegas and WSOP Europe festivals.
The biggest shakeup comes in Europe. WSOP Europe 2026 moves to Prague and will run from March 31 to April 12. The Main Event buy-in has been reduced to €5,300 and will feature a €10 million guarantee, the largest ever for the European series. Several new tournaments are also being added, including a Circuit Championship, mystery bounties, and new PLO events.
Another major change impacts the Player of the Year race. For the first time, results from WSOP Europe, Las Vegas, and Paradise will all count toward a single leaderboard. A $1 million prize pool will reward the top 100 finishers, with the overall winner earning a $100,000 Paradise package.
Online bracelet events will no longer count toward Player of the Year standings. WSOP leadership says the changes are meant to create a true global season, rewarding consistency across all major live stages.
