The poker series will run at the Orange City Racing and Card Club December 4-16
The Moneymaker Poker Tour is set to make its first stop at the Orange City Racing and Card Club in Orange City, Florida, from December 4 to December 16. This marks a new venue for the tour, which has previously hosted events at the Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club, a nearby sister property. Positioned between Daytona Beach and Orlando, the Orange City club is well-placed to attract players from the Orlando area and beyond.
The series promises nearly two weeks of poker action, featuring a variety of tournaments and cash games. Players can compete for a share of more than $700,000 in guaranteed prize money spread across 23 events, along with numerous satellite tournaments leading up to the bigger events.
Two major highlights of the festival include the $500 No-Limit Hold’em Kickoff Event, offering a $200,000 prize pool with eight starting flights, and the $1,500 Main Event, which boasts a $300,000 guarantee. The Main Event kicks off on December 12 with three opening flights over three days and concludes on December 16.
The schedule caters to a diverse range of players, with tournaments designed for ladies, seniors, and fans of Pot-Limit Omaha. Special features include the “Moneymaker Mix” events, which blend various poker formats, and unique offerings like tag-team and bounty tournaments.
Orange City Racing and Card Club’s 40-table layout will accommodate the action, providing an ideal setting for both experienced players and newcomers. With its proximity to major markets and a packed schedule, the stop is expected to draw significant attention from the poker community, building on the momentum of the Moneymaker Poker Tour’s previous Florida events.
