Resorts World Las Vegas will host the series beginning February 29
Mixed Game Festival VII returns to Las Vegas, where players will compete for a prize package to the new North American Poker Tour. The event runs from February 25 to 29 at Resorts World in Las Vegas.
The two tournaments have a $300 buy-in and should attract a few successful high-stakes pros during the week, including Poker Hall of Famer Eli Elezra, Scott Abrams, Nathan Gamble, Kevin Gerhart, Andrew Yeh and Justin Saliba.
“Resorts World Poker Room is very happy to welcome back Cardplayer Lifestyle’s Mixed Game Festival once again,” stated Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas.
“Our first-class dealers are excited for mixed game players to fill our room for an engaging fun-filled week of exhilarating dealer’s choice play. Beyond the cash games, we have no doubt that players will enjoy our O/E and H.E.R.O.S. tournaments on the schedule.”
The festivities begin with a pizza party on Sunday, February 25, followed by the first mixed cash game session, with limits as small as $4/8 and $8/16. Participants can also win merchandise from tournament sponsors, such as RunGoodGear, D&B Poker Publishing, PokerGO, Faded Spade Playing Cards and BBO Poker Tables.
A pair of tournaments are featured at the festival, beginning with a $300 Omaha 8/Stud 8 tourney on Monday, February 26, and the headline event, a $300 H.E.R.O.S. tournament on Thursday, February 29.
The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPs) is partnering with the festival for “Women’s Wednesday” on February 28, where Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher will host a session starting at 10 AM for ladies to test their skills at the cash game tables.
