The tournament series includes a Main Event with a $5M guarantee
The Mediterranean Poker Party will again be hosted by the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Spa in May 2024. A series of thrilling tournaments have been announced as part of the event, including a $1,100 buy-in Mystery Bounty tournament, the EAPT Grand final with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool, and the Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event with a $5,300 buy-in and a $5 million guarantee.
“Everybody at Merit is really looking forward to the return of the MPP in 2024,” declared Songul Bekem, President of Merit Poker. “We encourage players to save the dates and plan now. As ever, we always endeavor to give the players the best possible experience in everything we do.”
Doron Ziony, Business Development Director of DTD Events, says that additional details will be released in the next few months about the 2024 Mediterranean Poker Party. “This event will have something for all players with a wide range of bankrolls,” said Ziony. “It is great to be bringing the event back to Merit in 2024 with a great poker offering and a fun summer holiday spirit.”
Five featured events have been scheduled so far as part of the Mediterranean Poker Party series, which includes $9.5 million in tournament guarantees. The annual $5 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty event will kick things off from May 2-5. The EAPT Cyprus will run from May 11-14, and the $5,000,000 GTD Mediterranean Poker High Roller wraps things up from May 12-14.
Hannes Jeschka won the 2023 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event, taking the top prize of $542,000.
