The casino in Henderson, NV, is helping bring poker back to the state

Green Valley Ranch is set to welcome players back to a fully renovated poker room on December 18, marking the first major update to the space as part of the property’s $200 million makeover. The room will reopen at its original location inside the Henderson casino and will operate around the clock once doors open at 11 a.m.

To celebrate the return, the casino is launching a two-week Mystery High Hand promotion running from December 18 through January 1. Every 30 minutes, the player holding the highest hand in the room will win between $50 and $500. Each high-hand winner will also earn an entry into a drawing for a $5,000 prize, which will be awarded on New Year’s Day at noon.

The redesigned room will feature 15 tables, upgraded audio-visual displays, and a more modern layout aimed at improving the playing experience. Regular offerings will include 4/8 and 8/16 Limit Hold’em, several No-Limit Hold’em levels such as 1/2, 2/3 and 3/5, and Time Rake Hold’em. Pot-Limit Omaha and various Omaha Hi/Lo options will also be spread, with more games expected to be added over time based on player demand.

Green Valley Ranch’s poker room has long been a popular spot for locals, and its return fills a gap in the Henderson poker scene. With refreshed amenities, a broad game mix, and a strong promotional launch, the casino is aiming to reestablish the venue as a go-to destination for both casual players and regular grinders.
