The series follows some of the biggest names on the poker tournament circuit
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has launched its new docuseries No Limit on YouTube, giving fans a rare look at the personalities and stories behind the game’s biggest stars. The series focuses less on cards and strategy and more on the lives, emotions, and motivations of poker’s elite. The debut episode highlights Daniel Negreanu, Kristen Foxen, Scott Seiver, and Faraz Jaka as they prepare for the high-stakes action at WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.
The episode opens with Negreanu reliving his 2024 WSOP victory in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, a win that earned him his seventh gold bracelet and $1.2 million. It’s a reflective moment for the poker legend, who discusses the grind of competition and his continuing passion for the game. Seiver, another featured player, had a breakout summer with three bracelet wins and the WSOP Player of the Year title, while Foxen’s deep run in the Main Event drew significant fan attention.
Faraz Jaka also takes center stage, showcasing his return to form after years on the circuit. With nearly $9 million in live tournament earnings, Jaka’s focus is on balancing performance and personal growth. The episode builds toward their participation in the $25,000 Super Main Event, which carried a $50 million guaranteed prize pool and drew hundreds of poker’s best players. Cameos from icons like Phil Hellmuth and Maria Ho add to the show’s appeal.
Produced by Artisans on Fire, the series took more than 700 hours of footage and up to 16-hour shoot days across 20 filming sessions. CEO Dustin Ianotti said the goal was to capture poker’s human side rather than pure gameplay. By blending emotion, storytelling, and real competition, No Limit aims to do for poker what Drive to Survive did for Formula 1—make fans care about the people behind the cards.
